 Alpine Total Dynamic Dividend Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek high current dividend income. Its secondary investment objective is long-term capital growth. The Fund seeks to invest at least 80% of its net assets in the equity securities of domestic and foreign corporations that pay dividends, and whose equity securities are traded on a United States or foreign securities market. The equity securities in which the Fund will invest include primarily common stocks. It may also invest in real estate investment trusts, preferred stocks, master limited partnerships, exchange-traded funds, and securities convertible into or exchangeable for common stocks, such as convertible debt. It may invest up to 25% of its assets in securities of issuers located in emerging markets. Alpine Total Dynamic Dividend Fund's investment advisor is Alpine Woods Capital Investors, LLC.
