| In March 2003, I-Track, Inc. changed its name to China Wireless Communications, Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Strategic Communications Partners, Inc. (SCP), which became a subsidiary of the company. Immediately prior to the closing of the acquisition of SCP, the company entered into an assignment and assumption agreement with AVL Information Systems, Ltd., under which the company’s automatic vehicle location business was transferred to AVL, which assumed the company’s liabilities related to this business. China Wireless Communications, Inc. provides, through SCP, telecommunications services, principally in the People's Republic of China. The company offers exclusive marketing, technical, and support services to a wireless broadband provider in Beijing. Its partner, Tian Gui, controls and operates the 7.6 Ghz broadband spectrum. |
